The Beaver Creek Storytellers have changed the date of performances Gallery from Thursday Evenings to the First Tuesday Evening of each Month at 711 State Street, Bristol, VA.
Thank you to G. Lee Hearl for this great flyer! He will be handling the publicity for the Beaver Creek Storytellers beginning in May, 2013!
I noticed that announcements going to some of our friends on the distribution list at Virginia Highlands Community College bounced back, so apologies to those who might not have received announcements! Like everyone I called the IT folks, and I talked to Glen Johnson, who asked me to read the bounce-back message. Then I knew that I could have learned why the message bounced on my own, because the message told me that my e-mail was larger than their server would allow.
It is a good thing I talked with Glen, however, because he had a couple of suggestions that I will follow. I have been sending the flyer in .pdf and .jpg versions. In the future, I will send the .pdf flyer, and a link to the .jpg (photograph) version of the flyer. If you need the larger .jpg, follow the link, which will take you to the graphic on Flickr! Be sure if you download that you click through to the image size on Flickr that says "Original."
And if you are looking around the Flickr site, please add your name or a comment to your photographs there!
Note of interest - Glen, who helped me with the e-mail problem, is now a member of our distribution list, and may join us for storytelling!
The Beaver Creek Storytellers enjoyed stories with friends at the Bristol Public Library in Bristol Virginia on January 6th, Old Christmas. More photos appear under the Photo Album tab above, or you can see this set on Flickr.
There will be no performance at the 606 State Street Gallery on January 3, 2013, since it is so close to Old Christmas on the 6th. Join us for the Old Christmas storytelling at the Bristol Public Library.
The December 6th performance announced below has been cancelled due to a conflict with the Christmas parade in downtown Bristol at 7:00 p.m. on the same date. Please come to downtown Bristol and enjoy the parade!
