We are already looking forward to the 606 State Street Gallery performance in May, and will post our notice soon. Thank you to the April storytellers, and to the Java J's Jammers, who are looking for a new name. We understand that they will also be regulars now at 606 State Street!

_ On February 2nd, we will hear stories from MaryGrace Walrath, Carole Ann Miller, G Lee Hearl, Carl Jenkins, Sam Samuel, and Judy "Butterfly" Farlow as well as music from Becky Wise and Bruce Haney. Our emcee will be Pat Musselman.
This is sure to be a great program!  Invite your friends and family to attend.  If anyone can bring something for snacks, please do so.  
Members remember that Dues are due in February.  Single membership is $12 and family membership is $20.

Mark your calendars for two storytelling events this week!

Thursday, October 6th, we will be at 606 State Street Gallery for our regular monthly storytelling. As usual, there will be free refreshments at Intermission, and admission is $5.00. Our tellers will be Becky Vickers, Carl Jenkins, MaryGrace Walrath, and Pat Musselman, and the Master of Ceremonies will be Carl Williams. Kenny and Julie Ashkettle will be present to provide some music! That is Thursday, October 6, 2011, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at 606 State Street Gallery, 606 State Street, Bristol, Tennessee.

Then on Saturday, October 8th, we will be telling scary tales (not recommended for children under 6 years old) at our annual Graveyard Tales. Five door prizes will be awarded, free refreshments at intermission, and Admission: $5.00. Our Tellers will be Becky Vickers, Carole Ann Miller, G. Lee Hearl, Glen Williams, MaryGrace Walrath, and Pat Musselman. Becky Vickers will be Master of Ceremonies. That is Saturday, October 8, 2011, from 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the shelter behind Weaver Elementary School, 3341 Weaver Pike, Bristol, Tennessee

To save the date ahead, remember that the 606 State Street Gallery performance is the first Thursday of each month, to help you get into the mood for the weekend! (Admission $5.00, refreshments at intermission.)

Members and friends picnic September 11th at Steele Creek Park. Contact us if you don't have the information on time and food arrangements.

Annual Halloween Graveyard Tales, October 8th at 7:30. This event is not for children under 6, as the stories -- and maybe some of the tellers -- will be scary! (Admission $5.00, refreshments at intermission.)
